Your tour will Start at 11.30am and finish around 1pm This exclusive distillery exceeds in what they do and education about the process of distilling is one of the best on the Speyside Journey ...

THE CARDHU DISTILLERY

The distillery was established in 1824 by John Cumming, who had previously been a whisky smuggler. The distillery was sited high up on Mannoch Hill, above the River Spey due to the peat softening the water. The distillery started as farm distillery working on a seasonal basis after the harvest had been gathered. The distillery was mainly run by Helen Cumming who used to sell bottles of whisky to passers-by through the window of their farmhouse.

This is the next distillery on this tour you will have 45 minutes to 1 hour to enjoy a tasting or sample whisky at the bar and shop at your own leisure before heading on to the final distillery ...

GLENLIVIT DISTILLERY

The Glenlivet distillery is a distillery near Ballindalloch in Moray, Scotland that produces single malt Scotch whisky. It is the oldest legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet, and the production place of the Scottish whisky of the same name. It was founded in 1824 and has operated almost continuously since.

You will have up to 1 hour here to enjoy shop and relax in the bar before returning back to Inverness
